Joan Humphries, grandmother of Private Kevin Elliott, killed in Afghanistan in 2009, and Graham Knight, whose son Sergeant Ben Knight died in 2006, write:

On Monday 21 December, we will be travelling to 10 Downing Street, where we will be joined by other bereaved military families.

We will demand to see Gordon Brown and present him with a petition signed by tens of thousands of people who are calling for the troops to be brought home. We have suffered terrible personal loss in this war in Afghanistan and we don't want any more families to go through the same pain.
