Spot the difference: non-nuclear Iran vs nuclear Israel

Iran is subjected to sanctions for exercising its right under international law to develop nuclear power facilities. There is no evidence to show it is intent on producing nuclear weapons. Meanwhile Israel has developed nuclear weapons 1000 times more powerful than the US atom bomb that destroyed Hiroshima in 1945. No one talks of sanctions against Israel.
