Tensions continue to mount as President Trump threatens military action over North Korea’s ballistic missile tests. The world, it seems, is closer to nuclear war than it has been for many years. South Korea meanwhile is playing host to THAAD, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, a US anti-missile system, while thousands of American and South Korean troops practise war exercises on land and sea and in the air.
