Stop the War Coalition
Bob Crow, general secretary of the RMT union, has died at the tragically young age of 52. Bob was a principled fighter for social justice and peace and a long-time supporter of Stop the War Coalition, speaking at many of our demonstrations, rallies and meetings.
He was an inveterate campaigner for human rights, not least in the cause of justice for the Palestinian people oppressed under Israeli occupation.
Bob will be much missed by the union members he served, and all those whose lives were touched by his commitment and passion for the progressive causes he supported.
Stop the War sends its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and all who knew him.
