Following the Foreign Secretary’s recent comments StWC have challenged him to Foreign Policy debate
Dear Foreign Secretary,
Following a week of contradictory, headline grabbing and frankly alarming statements from you concerning British foreign policy, we would like to request a public debate. Leaving aside for a moment the twists and turns in your position and your requests that we should organise protests, your calls for military escalation in Syria and against Russia are a matter of grave concern.
We believe the last thing the people of Syria need is more bombs dropped on their country, and that sabre rattling against Russia is wildly irresponsible and an obstacle to peace.
